The Department of Management Studies and Research, as an academic unit of SSIT, The department currently runs AICTE approved full-time, Two Years MBA program of affiliated to R.T.M. Nagpur University and Director of Technical Education Maharashtra, approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Department provides excellent environment to the students to grow up various management skills and has a continuous process of interaction with corporate, industry. It is a two year course which includes four semesters. To seek admission in this course a candidate need to have Degree in Graduation (with more than 45% marks in category & 50% General Category ) and should have appeared for the MBA State level (CET) or any National Level (CAT, MAT, XAT,ATMA) Entrance examination.

The department offers its Faculty opportunities for research, consultancy, academic independence and freedom to explore new expertise, through workshops, seminars, lectures and other extracurricular events. The curriculum of MBA has been designed in a modular format with due impetus on practical labs and corporate case studies along with theoretical aspects. Development of entrepreneurial skills is also focused in view of a holistic business perspective; this makes our students compatible with both domestic and international business environment. At the same time which help in development of such abilities and qualities that empower them to earn the most rewarding jobs and remain committed towards the betterment of the society.
